And for those of you who are wondering if Tonya is showing yet, here is proof that the answer is...well...maybe a little? :)

No news is good news

As the title suggests, just because we've been slackers at updating this wonderful thing, means just that...we've been slackers and haven't updated in the last two weeks.

The last couple of weeks have been rather uneventful. We celebrated our one year anniversary (Yeah!) by spending the weekend up in Portland at the Avalon Hotel & Spa. Went out to PF Changs for dinner, and did some shopping in the Portland area. A nice quiet get away before the hustle-and-bustle of preparing the house for a baby.

I guess this is part of the reason why we never started a blog before...we're not really all that exciting. But, rest assured, oh internet companions, things will more than likely get more interesting in the coming months.

For those who haven't seen our little "chicken nugget" yet, here are the pictures we got from the first two ultra sounds. The first was taken by the doctor just to make sure that everything was still going well with the baby, and the second was from the ultrasound tech. Can't really see much, but there is definitely something there... :)


As you can see from the second picture, the poor kid has my head! The "official" ultrasound (the one were we get to see ... um ... stuff) is on April 19. Yay!

They have the internet on computers now?

Here we are, finally joining the 21st Century, and developing our own blog.

As many of you know, we are expecting our first child in September, so I'm sure that most of what we talk (rant) about will be the trials and tribulations surrounding this miraculous event.

Stay tuned, as I'm sure you will all be hanging on to the edge of your seats and waiting with baited breath for each and every new post. Hopefully we'll have something worthwhile to say every now and then... :)
